Kansas History Day contests are quickly approaching and they need your help. Judges are necessary at all levels of the History Day competition to evaluate the students' entries and provide the positive and constructive feedback that is essential to the learning process. KCHE is proud to announce that our 2017 KCHE Teachers of the Year are Kathy Schaller of Ruth Clark Elementary School in Haysville and Blanche Wulfekoetter of Jefferson West High School in Meriden. The awards will be presented at the Kansas Social Studies Conference reception on Sunday, Nov. 5th, 6:30pm, at the Hotel at Old Town Conference Center. In addition, both teachers are also now eligible for the 2017 KS State Social Studies Teacher of the Year Award. Congratulations, Kathy and Blanche!
