National History Day

National History Day (NHD) is an annual event that sparks passion for history in high school students as they embark on a learning adventure. Over 600,000 students from around the world compete in NHD contests each year, conducting extensive primary and secondary research on topics of interest that are historically significant. KCHE recognizes the potential impact of this event on young historians and encourages participation in this event.
