We invite you to submit a breakout session proposal for the 2019 Kansas Social Studies Conference, Authentic Learning: Making History Matter, to be held at Newman University in Wichita October 20 - 21, 2019. Sessions will be approximately 45 minutes long and may include, but are not limited to, panels, roundtables, or workshops focused on curriculum, literacy, technology, and best practices. How do you make history matter for your students?
Proposals must be received by August 1, 2019. Presenters will be notified by August 15th. If selected, presenters will be required to pre-register for the conference.
